Ohtake Shinro (born in 1955, Tokyo ) is an energetic contemporary artist who currently occupies the most attention in Japan .
In addition to such ordinary painting techniques of oil painting and watercolor, he uses various elements of photographs, waste materials, and printed matter in the form of scrap technique. These start from the size of a palm of the hand, to a giant size of several meters; diversified scale of work. Each of his work is represented with much intensified impulse of creativity and filled with powerful, luxuriant, vital force. We will selectively introduce approximately 600 works of Ohtake's diversified works that also have influenced in the fields of music and design.
