Takahiro Suzuki IKIRO - Be Alive Museum

The artist Takahiro Suzuki continues to write “Ikiro. He depicts “Painting” as if recording the recent memories as well. His miraculous "Ikiro Project" which he has been performing worldwide since 1996 and “Paintings” which reveal another aspect of this artist, will be combined and fused through an open studio.

August 6 (Wed) - October 26(Sun), 2014

“IKIRO” and “Painting” and Residence

Takahiro Suzuki (born in 1967, Osaka) has been conveying his "Life Energy" to all viewers directly by writing the word, "Ikiro" (Be Alive!) like Sha-kyo (sutra copying) as a performance in Japan as well as overseas. This exhibition will show his documented photographs of the past as well as his paintings. Also by inviting Suzuki to the museum, we will hold his performance, "Ikiro" and he will make artwork as well. The workshop with participation of the viewers will also be held to covey his art activities directly to you all.
