Tohl Narita (1929 - 2002) from Aomori Prefecture, is a sculptor. But in the field of art, he is also widely well-known in the world of special effects in Japan, as he designed monsters and aliens that appeared in the special effects programs, “Ultraman.” However, his group of works, filled with superb formative sense, remained unrecognized for a long time.
